ROBERT Morgenthau keeps running for re-election, but so do his opponents. Cyrus Vance Jr. - who claims he won't challenge the 89-year-old Manhattan district attorney, keeps raising funds for the race. And Leslie Crocker Snyder - who won the New York Times' endorsement four years ago, but far too few votes - is holding a media event today on the steps of City Hall to accept the support of 12 law enforcement groups, including the NYC Detectives' Endowment Assn., the NY State Supreme Court Officers, the Port Authority PBA and the Metropolitan Transit Authority PBA.
