LAUREN Bush might be a crypto-Democrat. The niece of President Bush told W magazine, "[Barack Obama] is still so new. He seems like a strong leader. We'll see." And Lauren doesn't want to be associated with the Bush clan much these days. She named her upcoming clothing line Lauren Pierce - using her grandmother's maiden name instead of the one she shares with our unpopular president. "It wasn't a conscious decision," she told the magazine. "Obviously my last name is associated with politics . . . It's not about downplaying my last name as much as it is about loving Pierce."
