BOB Morris has found there's life after The New York Times. Morris, whose "Age of Dissonance" column ran for eight years in the Sunday Styles section, is writing a pilot for HBO inspired by the etiquette conundrums he tackled in print. And last week, NBC/Universal Television optioned his hilarious memoir, "Assisted Loving," about the dating life of his octogenarian-widowed dad. "My agents got lots of requests for the option of the book, so I took the grand tour of Burbank," Morris said. "I adored the salad bar at the ABC cafeteria, but preferred NBC when it came to ideas." David Kissinger, son of Henry, was one of several producers Morris met - "I said, 'Never mind my father, what about yours? Does he approve of having a son in show business?' " Morris also ghosted Diahann Carroll's memoir, "The Legs Are the Last to Go."
