DESIGNER Thom Browne is a Democrat - and loathes John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin. Over lunch Friday at Cookshop in Chelsea, his female companion read him anti-Palin political blogs. A source says, "She was reading him all the news on Sarah Palin - how she just got her passport, how she is against abortion even in cases of rape, etc. - and Thom kept laughing and saying what an idiot she is. Then he was saying how Republicans are evil - and badly dressed! He started saying how Sarah is the worst-dressed woman on the planet and a total moron. He was really making fun of her." The two then went back to discussing ways to raise money for his company.
