A CASE OF MOORE BEING LESS

Page Six Photo

September 6, 2008 --

MICHAEL Moore really shouldn't be so proud of himself. The portly polemicist visited 62 cities four years ago to persuade millions of young "slackers" to register to vote. Moore cutely offered a clean change of underwear, free Ramen noodles and a promise that no event would start before noon and no politician would be allowed to speak. Moore, of course, had himself filmed, and now he's releasing the 97-minute movie as a free download at slackeruprising.com - probably because there was no market for it. "This is being done entirely as a gift to my fans," Moore said in his press release. "People who are not fans of mine will not like this movie," Moore bragged. "If you're a McCain fan, this film should probably be rated X." The rotund radical seems to forget that his voter registration drive was a big flop, and that President Bush was re-elected by a wide margin.
