TEAM PLAYERS

Page Six Photo

August 20, 2008 --

WHEN Chevy Chase saw blond and lithe Lori Singer with her mitt and baseball cap getting ready to play in the 60th annual Artists & Writers Softball Game in East Hampton, he asked the "Footloose" actress which team she was on. She assured the "Saturday Night Live" legend she was on his Artists squad. Singer also told writer Gregory Speck she's about to return to the screen in "The Enforcers." At home plate, Roy Scheider's beautiful widow, Brenda, expressed pride in their handsome son Christian, who is studying liberal arts at Bard to prepare for an acting career like his late father.
