'I Kissed a Girl' puts her lips in big leagues
Katy Perry's lesbian daydream keeps getting hotter. The blue-eyed California stunner's single "I Kissed a Girl" currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Pop 100 Airplay, as well as two other charts, and is the most-requested song on Z100. Perry, 23, took time away from the Van's Warped Tour, where she's introducing additional cuts from her debut album, "One of the Boys," to chat with The Post as she treated herself to a much-needed manicure.
Cherry ChapStick. "I haven't kissed a girl yet, but I'm hoping it's Scarlett Johansson before she marries Ryan Reynolds. I have a big crush on her. I wouldn't mind kissing Megan Fox, either."
Sweet dreams. "Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics was one of the producers I worked with on the album. He's unbelievable. He actually took me to dinner to meet Mick Jagger. [Laughs] I have some stories. [Producers] Dr. Luke, Butch Walker and Ted Bruner also helped me get the sound I wanted."
Freddie lives. "Queen is a major influence. Freddie Mercury is still my idol to this day. Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morissette, the Beach Boys and Heart have also influenced me."
Afternoon soaps. "I just made an appearance on 'The Young and the Restless' as myself. I'm on the cover of their new online fashion and lifestyle magazine RestlessStyle.com. But I don't think I'll ever be part of the cast. They filmed like eight episodes in one day. That's just way too crazy for me."
Material girl. "I had to reach for my inhaler when the Pop Queen gave me a shout-out on the radio before 'I Kissed a Girl' even came out. It's amazing that she has enough time to keep her finger that close to the underground pulse with the amazing life she's living."
