Lance Berkman atoned for three strikeouts with a two- run double in the eighth inning last night to lift the Astros to an 11-10 win over the Red Sox in Houston.
Mark Loretta hit a three-run homer and Carlos Lee added a solo shot and a two-run double for the Astros, who beat Boston for the first time in five all- time meetings. Houston rallied from 4-0 and 9-6 deficits. Ty Wigginton tied the game at 9-all with a solo homer in the eighth off Manny Delcarmen (0-2), setting up Berkman's heroics later in the inning.
Blue Jays 9, Braves 5
In Toronto, the Braves' Tim Hudson surrendered homers to Vernon Wells and Rod Barajas and the Blue Jays beat the Braves yesterday in Toronto, dropping Hudson to 1-5 this season when he gives up a home run.
White Sox 6, Cubs 5
In Chicago, Carlos Quentin hit a tie-breaking homer leading off the bottom of the seventh, closer Bobby Jenks escaped a ninth-inning jam and the White Sox made it two straight over the Cubs.

In Minneapolis, Manny Parra allowed two hits in seven innings to win his sixth straight start and the Brewers beat Minnesota to end the Twins' 10-game winning streak.

In Cleveland, Johnny Cueto won for the first time in four starts for Cincinnati, combining with four relievers to shut out the Indians.
Cardinals 5, Royals 1
In Kansas City, Rick Ankiel hit a two-run home run to help rookie Mitchell Boggs remain unbeaten and the St. Louis Cardinals beat Kansas City 5-1 on Saturday night, snapping the Royals' six-game winning streak.
Tigers 7, Rockies 6
In Detroit, Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run double in the bottom of the ninth and the Tigers overcame Todd Jones' blown save to beat the Rockies.
Phillies 8, Rangers 6
In Arlington, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard hit 400-foot homers in the third inning and the Phillies held on for an 8-6 victory over the Rangers.
Orioles 9, Nationals 1
In Washington, by the time a severe thunderstorm drenched a history-making crowd at Washington's new ballpark, the Baltimore Orioles had already dampened the enthusiasm of most of the 39,479 fans.
Luke Scott and Ramon Hernandez homered, Adam Jones matched his career high with four hits, and the Orioles cruised past the Nationals in a game interrupted by rain for 63 minutes.

In San Deigo, Carlos Silva won for the first time in 13 starts spanning nearly 2 ½ months and the Mariners beat the Padres.

D'backs 6, Marlins 2
In Miami, Brandon Webb returned to his All-Star form, Chris Young had three RBIs and the Diamondbacks finally beat the Marlins.
Webb (12-4), the 2006 Cy Young Award winner, stuck out eight and gave up two runs in six innings for the Diamondbacks, who ended a three-game losing streak and beat Florida for the first time in five tries this season.
