A former big-time shock jock in Pennsylvania has been working as a counterfeiter in Manhattan, prosecutors said yesterday.

Bruce Bond was a middleman in a multimillion-dollar international bogus-check scheme and had created "thousands" of bogus checks in his Wall Street apartment, prosecutor Gary Snitow told Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Marcy Kahn.

Bond, 49, "forged checks on a daily basis over the past 15 months, ranging from $1,500 to $47,000 each," court papers say.

Bond pleaded not guilty to charges of forgery, identity theft and attempted grand larceny and was ordered held on $250,000 bail.
