Umpire Brian Runge was suspended one game by Major League Baseball yesterday for bumping Mets interim manager Jerry Manuel on Tuesday night.Runge, who later apologized to Manuel for the incident in the fourth inning of the Mets' 11-0 loss to the Mariners, must begin serving his suspension immediately. Manuel and Beltran were both ejected in that game and received undisclosed fines for their conduct, according to MLB VP of on-field operations Bob Watson.
