A notorious Brooklyn crack den has been shut down after residents in the quiet Bay Ridge neighborhood banded together and demanded action, prosecutors said yesterday.

The den - actually two homes at 346 and 348 93rd St. - were a frequent topic of angry conversation on Bay Ridge neighborhood blogs going back more than two years.

"The neighbors had observed a great deal of suspicious activity going on," said Jason Miller, whose home abuts the backyard of one of the houses. "A lot of fighting in the middle of the night. You start wondering if it will ever go away."

On Friday, a police raid finally shut the place down. Five people were arrested.
