WASHINGTON - Two-thirds of New York state's House Democrats haven't paid their annual dues to the party election committee.
The names of Reps. Yvette Clarke (D-Brooklyn), John Hall (D-Hudson Valley) and Edolphus Towns (D-Brooklyn) appeared on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's latest list of those who hadn't helped bankroll vulnerable campaigns.
"It's in my plans," Clarke said. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-Brooklyn/Queens) has paid $75,000 of the $200,000 the committee has asked of him, although he has $150,000 in his campaign account. "I'm going to do my best," he said.
Towns said, "After my election, I do plan to pony up."
