A Brooklyn delivery turned into a night in jail after a man scuffled with a traffic agent who gave him a ticket for double parking while he dropped off a stove, police said.
Traffic agent Ria Daniel said driver Robert DiBene was so angry Wednesday morning that he balled up the ticket, shoved it down her shirt, and shook her like a rag doll.
DiBene was arrested and charged with third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and a second-degree charge of obstructing governmental administration.
"If you consider taking a ticket and throwing it at her assault, I guess I did," DiBene told the Post.
Anything else, he said, is "an outright lie."
"If that's what she wants to claim," DiBene said, "I'll sue her."
A witness who lives in the building where DiBene made the delivery said the driver did not touch the agent.
