Take a good look at No. 5.
This photograph, released yesterday from the rape-torture trial of Robert Williams, shows the accused sadist seated with a No. 5 around his neck for a victim lineup held at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office last year.
The photo shows the lineup just as it was viewed, in person, by the courageous young Columbia University grad student that Williams allegedly raped and tortured for 19 hours.
It was the first time the victim had seen her alleged attacker since he'd pushed his way into her Hamilton Heights apartment and nearly killed her, lead Detective Kenneth Fiol told jurors earlier.
Seeing her attacker again that day, the brave woman might have broken a sweat, Fiol remembered. But she was otherwise unbroken.
"She took a deep breath," the Special Victims Unit detective said. "She was sweating; she was breathing heavy."
Then, "She placed her hands over her head," the cop said. "Then she said, 'It's Number Five!' " and pointed her finger at Williams.
