Sen. Charles Schumer's household income hit an all-time high of $467,000 last year, according to financial disclosures released yesterday.
Between a successful new book, a raise for Capitol Hill lawmakers and his wife's higher paying CUNY vice chancellor's post, Schumer reported a 47 percent increase in 2007 over the previous year.
So, what did the Schumers do with their new windfall? Pay for college and law school for their daughters, according to spokesman Brian Fallon.
