RED SOX LOOK CRISP IN WIN

Coco Crisp kept Boston's depleted lineup rolling by driving in four runs, and Jacoby Ellsbury homered and stole two more bases for a Red Sox rookie record in a 9-0 victory over the Reds yesterday.

The Red Sox hit four homers in their most lopsided victory of the season. J.D. Drew, Ellsbury and Crisp connected off Homer Bailey (0-3), who has lost each of his three starts this season.

Josh Beckett (7-4) allowed six hits - three by Joey Votto - in seven innings.

Rockies 5, White Sox 3

In Chicago, Brad Hawpe hit a go-ahead home run, Aaron Cook earned his career-high 10th win, and the Rockies hung on to beat the White Sox.

Royals 8, D'backs 3

In Phoenix, David DeJesus hit his first career grand slam and had a career-high five RBIs, and the Royals defeated the Diamondbacks.

Brewers 4, Twins 2

In Milwaukee, Mike Cameron hit a two-run homer, Seth McClung continued his resurgence as a starter and Milwaukee's bullpen was finally solid, lifting the Brewers to a victory over the Twins.

Pirates 5, Orioles 4

In Baltimore, Adam LaRoche singled in the tiebreaking run off George Sherrill in the 10th inning, and the Pirates beat Baltimore to end a run of seven straight interleague defeats.

Cubs 7, Blue Jays 3

In Toronto, Ted Lilly tossed six scoreless innings, Derrek Lee drove in three runs and the Cubs beat the Blue Jays.

Indians 7, Padres 3

In Cleveland, C.C. Sabathia outpitched Greg Maddux in a matchup of Cy Young winners, and the Indians defeated the Padres.

Tigers 5, Dodgers 4

In Detroit, Nate Robertson pitched six shutout innings, Marcus Thames and Brandon Inge hit back-to-back homers and the Tigers beat the Dodgers for their sixth straight win.

Nationals 6, Mariners 2

In Seattle, rookie Kory Casto's pinch-hit, three-run homer off the foul pole broke an eighth inning tie and led the Nationals to a win over the Mariners.

Athletics 5, Giants 3

In Oakland, Eric Chavez had three hits and two RBIs to help the Athletics complete their second consecutive sweep of San Francisco.

Marlins 9, Rays 3

In St. Petersburg, Ricky Nolasco came within one out of the first complete game of his career, and Mike Jacobs and Wes Helms hit three-run homers to power the Marlins to a victory over the Rays.

Angels 2, Braves 0

In Anaheim, Casey Kotchman homered, Joe Saunders pitched seven scoreless innings and the Angels avoided a sweep with a victory over the Braves.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Cardinals 7, Phillies 6

In St. Louis, Rick Ankiel scored from second on the Phillies' second error at first base in the 10th inning, giving the Cardinals the victory.
