WEIRD BUT TRUE

The word was "debouch," and Larry Grossman did just that - emerging (as the word means) as the winner of the senior spelling bee.

Grossman, a 56-year-old teacher from Northwood, ND, took home $500 for winning the 13th annual AARP The Magazine's National Spelling Bee, held in Cheyenne, Wyo.

A Chicago-area school-bus driver is right on the money.

Steve Kreuscher, 57, got a judge's approval to legally change his name to "In God We Trust" - with "In God" his first name and "We Trust" his last.

The Zion, Ill., man said his new name symbolizes the help God gave him during tough times.

A car given by Adolf Hitler to the king of Nepal is headed to a museum.

Hitler gave the 1939 Mercedes to King Tribhuvan, grandfather of just-ousted King Gyanendra. A special assembly voted to abolish the monarchy last month.

In recent years, the car has been at an engineering college in Katmandu, which was using it to train mechanics. The school doesn't have the money or parts to restore the vehicle.
