Somewhere, someone else is very, very unlucky.

That's because Long Island grandmother Peggy Sfoglia is on a fortune roll - winning three lottery prizes in a row to the tune of over $2 million.

Sfoglia first won 40 bucks on a scratch-off ticket on May 13, then let it ride on a $20 "$500,000,000 Extravaganza" instant lottery the next day.

That ducat won her $2 million.

Sfoglia said she was too emotional to scratch off all of the numbers on the second instant lottery ticket on May 14 because she saw "a comma and something else."

She sat down and asked hubby Ben, 65, to finish. "I said, 'I can't do it. Will you do it?' I didn't cry. I didn't scream. I went into total shock for three days," she said.

"It was the quietest three days in the man's life," Sfoglia laughed, hefting her big $2 million check at a New York State Lottery press conference yesterday morning.

But old habits die hard, so even after her big score, Sfoglia bought yet another scratch-off lottery ticket - and won $100.

Sfoglia, 60, said she will stay in her current home in Shirley, and invest her windfall.
