Four thugs - two men and two women - were responsible for a pair of muggings last night in Central Park. The crimes took place at the Boathouse and the nearby Bethesda Fountain.
In both cases, the victims were men walking alone. Both reported being robbed, but neither was hurt, police said. It was not immediately clear what was stolen.
The attacks took place just before midnight.
