Auditions will be held in Times Square next weekend for a zany new game show that turns players into human Tetris pieces.

"Hole in the Wall" is based on a Japanese surreality show that has become a global sensation.

As a giant Styrofoam wall with a small, oddly shaped opening rapidly closes in, players must contort themselves into a pose that allows them to slip through without getting flung into a pool of water.

FreemantleMedia, producer of "American Idol," is auditioning teams of three next Saturday, June 14th, at Dave & Buster's in Times Square. The show is expected to air on Fox this summer.

Unlike in the Japanese version, the contestants will be regular Joes, not celebrities, and there will be cash prizes, executive producer Stuart Krasnow told The Post.

"This is America. If we are willing to make fools of ourselves on TV, we want to be compensated," he said.

Teams can show up at Dave & Buster's between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

Contestants can also apply online by e-mailing holeinthewallcastingny@gmail.com.
