The heirhead's cellmate has been selected and is now serving her term, a jail source told TMZ.com.
Hilton's bunk buddy is rumored to be in for reckless driving and is believed to be wealthy herself - she is being trusted not to cash in on Hilton's name. The duo will live in special-needs housing.
A sheriff's spokesman said it's "not unusual" that prison officials would go to great lengths to protect the heiress - due June 5 at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif., for driving with a suspended license.
