Beginning tonight through Memorial Day, the Brooklyn Bridge will be lit up like a birthday cake in honor of its 125th anniversary.
Several thousand are expected to attend ceremonies to kick off the celebration tonight at 7:45 p.m. at Empire Fulton Ferry State Park in DUMBO. The Brooklyn Philharmonic will perform and there will be a Grucci Brothers fireworks show.
