MASSACRE IN NJ HOME

By ERIN CALABRESE

May 17, 2008

The decomposing bodies of three people - all stabbed to death - were found in a New Jersey house of horrors yesterday.

A relative discovered the corpses of an elderly man and woman and a man in his 20s in the two-story Tenafly home at around 4 p.m., authorities said.

All three suffered from "extensive stab wounds," Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said.

The younger man also had defensive wounds, authorities said.

The elderly man's daughter became alarmed after not hearing from the victim for "some time" and asked another relative to go check on the house, officials said.

When the relative arrived at 4 p.m., he found one of the bodies and called police.

Authorities have ruled out a murder-suicide and did not find any signs of forced entry or a robbery.

Officials believe that the victims, who could not immediately be identified, have been dead for several days. E
