A veteran Manhattan teacher earning a six-figure salary was arrested yesterday and charged with sexually abusing a female colleague, police sources said.
Larry Litoff, 61, of Scarsdale, stands accused of forcible touching and sexual abuse in the alleged March 28 incident at City-As-School HS.
An administrative worker in her late 50s told officers that Litoff groped her as she bent over to put away mail.
It was not clear why she waited until yesterday to file the report.
Litoff started his career with the Department of Education in 1969 as a teacher of accounting and business practices.
His salary is $100,049 a year at City-As-School HS, an alternative high school in lower Manhattan.
School officials could not be reached for comment.
