Cop-turned-actor Dennis Farina was busted and held in jail yesterday after security agents at LA International Airport found a loaded gun in his carry-on luggage, authorities said.
Farina, 64, said he forgot that the .22-caliber weapon was in his briefcase, cops said. The gun was unregistered, the cops added.
Farina, a former Chicago police officer who played a New York detective on "Law & Order," was released on $35,000 bail.
