Grace is getting help from an unconventional angel named Earl (Leon Rippy), her loyal best friend, Rhetta Rodriguez, her many siblings, and her partner and married lover Ham Dewey (Kenny Johnson). "I wanted to do a series that explored God and faith and religion and sin through a female character," says series creator and executive producer Nancy Miller. "These are the women that I grew up with. This is me." Season two picks up with Grace deciding whether to kill Father Mercy, the priest who once molested her.
